The step by step guide to EYEART
One eye
- unlimited combinations:
Line under the eye / eyelid in a liquid soft orchid, follow your
contour in a rose tone, trace the outline in a very pale tawny
brown shadow extending upward and outward @ the outer corners,
finish w/ a hint of silver powder on the brow bone. Frame using
a blonde pencil and brown mascara.
Extend
the above eye makeup by using a deep silvery taupe eyeliner underneath
the eye and a fine line across the lid, deepen the contour by smudging
a plum shadow (w/ a hint sheen) into the crease. Frame the eye by
strengthening the brow w/ a warm brown brow pencil, and finish w/
two coats of black-brown mascara, to open the eye.
To really strengthen
this look, smear a thicker eggplant liquid liner around the whole
eye for a hazy effect - keeping the line heavier toward the outer
edge + extending it underneath, then softly smudge a deep blackberry
shadow over the top of the mostly dry liner for a smooth defined
finish.
Follow w/ 2 - 3 coats of thickening black mascara. Bring the contour
out by a heavier application of brighter metallic plum + berry shades,
for more intensity of pigment, dip your brush in water then the
shadow, using a damp applicator - blend outward into softer shades.
The under eye area can be accented more by the final blending of
a rose creme shadow smudged all along the lower lid, sweeping it
upward + outward - in turn, balancing the silver highlight under
the outer brow, and adding the final panache.
